NuAdventure – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings made with NuAdventure (registered in Sardinia, Italy). By booking with us, directly or through a partner, you accept these Terms in full. They are designed to protect both our guests and our partners, ensuring clarity, fairness, and safety.
1. Introduction
1.1 Welcome to NuAdventure, where our core values of transparency, authenticity, and guest care guide every journey.
1.2 These Terms form the basis of the agreement for all travel, accommodation, and adventure activities delivered by NuAdventure.
1.3 By booking, you agree to adhere to these Terms and any additional information provided.
1.4 Our adventures span diverse natural settings; flexibility and a spirit of exploration are essential.
2. Legal Framework & Jurisdiction
2.1 Governed by Italian law, including Law No. 1084/1977 and the Italian Tourism Code.
2.2 Any disputes will be handled in Sardinian courts, Italy.
2.3 We comply with GDPR regarding personal data protection.
3. Booking & Confirmation
3.1 Bookings may be made directly or through partner agencies.
3.2 A booking is confirmed only once NuAdventure receives payment and required documentation (e.g. fitness-to-travel form, insurance details).
3.3 When booking via a partner, responsibility for guest communication, pre-trip screening, and host coordination rests with the partner. NuAdventure remains responsible for the safe delivery of activities and services.
4. Pricing & Payments
4.1 Prices are in EUR unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Prices may change due to supplier costs, inflation, or taxes.
4.3 Deposits secure your booking; the balance must be paid by the deadline stated on your invoice.
4.4 Partner agencies may apply their own margins; the guest contract remains with NuAdventure.
5. Cancellations by Guests

More than 45 days before departure: 30% of trip cost charged.

44 days or fewer before departure: 100% charged.

No refunds for late arrivals, unused services, or voluntary withdrawal.

Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation is mandatory.
6. Cancellations by NuAdventure
We may cancel trips due to:
-
Unsafe weather or environmental conditions,
-
Force majeure (wildfires, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions),
-
Minimum numbers not met.
Guests will be offered either a full refund or an alternative date.
7. Meals & Local Standards
7.1 Meals are provided in partnership with local restaurants, reflecting Sardinian culture, seasonality, and authenticity.
7.2 Baseline inclusions:

Shared starter (e.g. mixed vegetables or antipasto),
-
Main course (choice or pre-agreed traditional dish),
-
One drink (soft drink, beer, or wine),
-
Coffee,
-
Dessert (traditional Sardinian sweet such as seadas, biscuits, or similar).
7.3 Dessert variety cannot be guaranteed daily; repetition of local sweets is normal.
7.4 Lunch breaks on activities include fruit, coffee/tea, and a Sardinian sweet.
7.5 Special dietary needs must be communicated in advance.
8. Refunds & Service Delivery
8.1 All services are delivered in collaboration with local partners. Authenticity and variability are part of the experience.
8.2 Refunds are exceptional, symbolic, and only apply if:

A contracted service is not delivered (e.g. meal not served, activity cancelled without safe alternative),
-
Documented food safety issues (e.g. allergic contamination, spoiled product).
8.3 Refunds do not apply if: -
Meals were served but taste, variety, or portion did not meet expectations,
-
Desserts or menus repeated due to local culture/seasonality,
-
Activities were adapted due to weather/safety,
-
Guests felt hungry, tired, or unprepared despite meals, fruit/snacks, hydration being provided,
-
Guests lacked required fitness or ignored daily briefings.
8.4 Any refund is symbolic and capped at 20% of the total trip cost per guest.
8.5 Refunds are processed only through the original booking channel (NuAdventure or partner agency). Guests cannot claim from both.
8.6 Refund responsibility is shared: NuAdventure covers service delivery; partners cover pre-trip screening and communication.
9. Complaints
9.1 Issues must be reported immediately to guides or hosts during the trip to allow resolution.
9.2 If unresolved, guests may escalate directly to NuAdventure HQ.
9.3 Formal written complaints must be submitted within 14 days of the trip’s end.
9.4 Failure to report during the trip may reduce or nullify entitlement to compensation.
10. Group Travel
Group travel requires cooperation, flexibility, and respect. NuAdventure ensures logistics, guides, and safety, but cannot be held liable for interpersonal conflicts, differences in expectations, or dissatisfaction caused by group dynamics.
11. Fitness to Travel
Guests must be in suitable health to participate. A non-competitive medical certificate may be required. Guests must inform us of allergies or conditions before the trip.
12. Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory. It must cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and activities included. Proof may be requested.
13. Safety & Risk
Adventure travel carries inherent risk.

NuAdventure guides are trained instructors and lifeguards.

Safety equipment and protocols are always in place.

Guests participate at their own risk and waive liability for inherent risks.
14. Force Majeure
NuAdventure is not liable for disruptions caused by external events outside our control (extreme weather, wildfires, strikes, epidemics, government restrictions).
15. Personal Property
NuAdventure is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
16. Media Use
Unless opted out in writing, guests consent to use of trip photos/videos for promotional purposes.
17. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes will be handled in Sardinian courts, Italy.
