The first adventure of our (Nu) lives
Aprile 26, 2018
The pilot adventure and film week has happened. We learned, we lived, we connected. At the moment we’re trying to make sense of everything so we can improve our formula for the forthcoming adventures. Mean while the guys at Venture Collective are editing the film – and we can hardly wait to see it and share it! But first we’d like to share some of the feedback we received from our pilots, not least the brave volunteers we recruited online – Mateo and Mieke.
I can’t wait to do it again without the 10 KG’s of camera strapped to me
Coen van Tartwijk – photographer from the Netherlands
This trip has drawn me out of my urban world and back to who I am
Mieke Luten – Doctor based in Belgium
The entire trip was filled with unforgettable moments – from slacklining a Tentsile tent inside a cave, to performing my first head-stand on a SUP
Mateo Manzari – IT director from Maui, Hawaii
I am in London now, getting back to normal – but staying close to the wonderful memories.
Jethro Shirley-Smith – Tree tent innovator from the UK
After the home-made meal I slept like a baby on the boat
Mieke Luten – Doctor based in Belgium
The Via Ferrata was the moment I felt most connected with the group – for me this is when it all came together.
Coen van Tartwijk – photographer from the Netherlands
I loved watching how people from different parts of the world enjoyed our [Sardinian] food, culture and way of life
Martina Casu – yoga teacher from Sardinia
The culture was very special – sharing the same interests, not being judged, helping each other whenever things became difficult
Linda Tompson – extreme water-sports-woman from New Zealand
I have found my reconnection. You showed me what it means to be in nature again
Mieke Luten – Doctor based in Belgium
Now I see clearly how the food, the people, and the activities all connected up into another
way of living.
Mateo Manzari – IT director from Maui, Hawaii
We found so many ways to play with, and to defy, gravity. As I imagined, most involved balance and breathing!
Martina Casu – yoga teacher from Sardinia
What an amazing experience – being part of the group, meeting new people and learning so much.
Jethro Shirley-Smith – Tree tent innovator from the UK
Sleeping in the tree tents was cool – for me they captured how playing-with-gravity reconnects
us with nature
Linda Tompson – extreme water-sports-woman from New Zealand
I thought my shoulder would hold me back from the acro yoga. But with Lohene’s patience and encouragement I acted as both a base and a flyer. Even now this brings a giant smile to my face.
Mateo Manzari – IT director from Maui, Hawaii
Fabri and Lohene – what an amazing couple!
Mieke Luten – Doctor based in Belgium
This week with Fabrizio and Lohene helped me realize that nature isn’t only about the weekends and evenings, it’s everywhere and everything – we need only let it into our lives.
Mateo Manzari – IT director from Maui, Hawaii
The via ferrata was amazing, the water sports too – but I really loved just spending the time with the people on the trip.
Linda Tompson – extreme water-sports-woman from New Zealand
I stepped outside of myself and my comfort zone, and the adventure changed my perspective on how I live.
Mateo Manzari – IT director from Maui, Hawaii
It was the group that made this trip amazing, and Fabrizio & Lohene brought it all together
Martina Casu – yoga teacher from Sardinia
Grazie a tutti!
Fabrizio & Lohene
